Gallipoli continues to shed viewers as The Block improves with room reveal
Gallipoli has continued to shed viewers following Nine’s decision to begin to “burn” the under-performing series last week. Last night the first episode at 9pm pulled just 450,000 metro viewers, down from last week’s metro audience of 479,000. Episode two dropped further to 353,000 down from 373,000 who tuned in last week, according to preliminary overnight figures from OzTam.
It was easily out-rated by Seven’s Revenge despite that show also declining from 661,000 metro viewers last week to 639,000.
The poor performance of Gallipoli saw Nine’s audience share drop to 17.6 per cent as Seven pulled away with a share of 23.4 per cent. The ABC were not too far behind Nine with a share of 15.9 per cent as Ten settled for a share of 13.6 per cent.
