Gold Coast Film Festival announces first pulp culture focused program

The Gold Coast Film Festival has announced its first full program as a pulp-culture focused event.

As previously announced, Nazi sci-fi film Iron Sky will open the festival, which runs from April 19-29 at the Australia Fair Birch Carroll & Coyle cinemas.

Closing the festival will be action film Safe, starring Jason Stratham, written and directed by Boaz Yakin.

The festival also moved from November to April to be in line with Supanova Pop Culture Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 20-22.
