Gold Coast radio station Sea FM rebrands as part of SCA’s Hit Network and reveals new breakfast show
Gold Coast radio station Sea FM is to be rebranded as Hit 90.9, bringing it in line with owner Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit Network branding.
The station has also announced its new breakfast lineup after former Bachelor contestant Heather Maltman left program earlier this year to focus on her podcasting career.

The new Hit 90.9 breakfast team
Having grown up listening to 90.9 Sea FM on the Gold Coast for as long as I can remember, it really hurt my heart hearing the name changed to “Hit90.9”. It just doesn’t feel like the same place anymore.
It reminded me of when “92.5 Gold FM” used to be 4GG, 4GGG and even “K.R.O.Q”. It doesn’t feel “right” not hearing the SeaFM ads that I have grown up hearing. I understand that times change, but to me it’s ruined seafm. I think it’s time to go elsewhere.
Loved listening to 90.9 mornings now the 2 over the top loud mouths woman spoiled a good breakfast show onto 102.9 with galey bring on 2020 those girls are always talking about themselves or over talking ben and dan bring back dan ben and heather
