Havas ANZ promotes planning chief to unify AI across network
Alastair Baker, Havas ANZ's new chief AI officer
Havas ANZ’s planning lead has shifted into a newly created role as chief AI officer, making it among of the first holding groups in Australia to formalise AI leadership at the C-suite level.
Alastair Baker, who has been with the network since 2021, will now lead a unified AI strategy across the network, partly to stop AI initiatives from becoming fragmented across its agencies.
He will also oversee the local roll-out of Havas’ new ConvergedAI operating system, a single AI stack across the network, in a move that mirrors other holdcos’ efforts to hard-wire AI into their backend systems.
