Hit 107 axes breakfast show with Amos, Cat & Angus, citing shifting target audiences
Adelaide’s Hit 107 breakfast show with Amos Gill, Cat Lynch and Angus O’Loughlin will finish up in September.
Hit Network’s head of content, Gemma Fordham, announced this morning the show would be discontinued from September 21, citing a shift in target audience as one of the main reasons for the change.
This is shit news I loved the new music line up but hate the fact you axed my morning show …… when they leave so will I…on the hunt for a new station. Your loyalty is clearly non existant.
I’ve listened to The station since the beginning way back in the 80s. Many breakfast teams have come and gone but Amos Cat and Angus have probably been my favourite. I wake up to the show each morning at 6 and then listen on my 40 minute drive to work. They’re fantastic and easy to listen to. …..more so than the drive home!!!!! Very sad
I can’t believe that yr axing yet another breakfast team, how many is that now. Amos Cat Angus were the best looked forward to listening on my way to work every morning, will be changing stations now
Really disappointed in this I loved listening to them in the morning on the way to work. Best brekky show on radio.
Really miss Amos. Kat and Angus not liking the new format like a laugh first thing in the morning to get the endorphines flowing, not happy
Not happy that you have axed this trio & also the way your music is slowly changing…. Very disappointed.
