Hard-hitting WorkSafe Victoria campaign tells stories of horrific accidents
A confronting WorkSafe Victoria campaign aimed at young workers features the agonising stories of two young people who were left scarred and disabled by accidents at work.
The campaign, created by Grey Melbourne, is led by two TV commercials that follow the lives of two young workers who suffer from serious injuries because they didn’t speak up when they were unsure about handling dangerous tasks at work.
The stories of “Beth” and “Nick” start from the present day, and show how other people react to their disfigurement, and how they see themselves. They then go back to the moment before the accident and end with the dramatic violence of the accident itself and the message ‘if you’re not sure, ask’.
