HuffPost Australia brings journalist David Barden on board as editor

HuffPost appears to be investing in its local editorial operations once more with the appointment of David Barden to an editor’s role. Barden was previously a journalist for the site back in 2016 and 2017.

Despite Barden’s appointment, the site is still without a local lead editor, which has been the case since the departure of Josh Butler back in March.

The local iteration of what was once known at the Huffington Post has been the subject of a number of challenges over the past year, with its joint venture with Fairfax ending in November.
