IAG appoints former American Express executive as marketing boss

Insurance company IAG has appointed Emily Roberts as chief customer and marketing officer.

Roberts will be in charge of IAG’s customer experience and marketing team, making her responsible for spearheading the company’s brand portfolio strategy, marketing and customer experience initiatives.

“We’re thrilled to welcome her during NRMA Insurance’s centenary year to lead our customer and marketing strategy as we deliver on our promise as A Help Company,” Julie Batch, chief executive officer of IAG Retail Insurance Australia, said in a media release.
