Today’s local marketing press round-up: win for Gatecrasher; M&C’s Pizza Hut work looks familiar; the "leaked" Underbelly video and a Kekovich spoof
Campaign Brief WA reports that Perth agency Gatecrasher has beaten seven-year incumbent The Brand Agency to win the Burswood Entertainment Complex account.
Meanwhile its sister blog Campaign Brief showcases new work from M&C Saatchi involving hidden camera work to surprise diners that they’re eating pasta from Pizza Hut. However, as one of the commenters points out, it’s remarkably similar to this work for Pizza Hut in the US:

Elsewhere the SMH’s Julian Lee is getting his teeth into the X-rated “leaked” virals around the new series of Underbelly, which first got an airing in a controversy on news.com.au, are still generating PR buzz.
People can bag the CB Blog all they want, but if you have an idea that has been “heavily influenced” by an existing idea you run the risk of being outed.
