It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on the ARIA charts

The ARIA charts are beginning to fill with Christmas spirit, as the annual holiday classics begin to flood in ahead of the big day.

Mariah Carey’s anthem, All I Want For Christmas Is You, is leading the Christmas charge, sitting at #8 on the ARIA Singles chart, just ahead of Last Christmas by Wham at #10.

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee has landed at #16, with Bobby Helms’ Jingle Bell Rock at #22. Given those songs were released in 1958 and 1957 respectively, it’s good to see them occupying the charts some six decades-and-change later.
