Jim Wilson quits 2GB with contenders tipped to replace him

Respected broadcaster and senior journalist Jim Wilson has stepped down as host of 2GB drive to pursue other opportunities with Nine television.

Wilson made the announcement on his drive program yesterday afternoon thanking his listeners for their support over the last couple of years.

It was a shock he has left 2gb. I heard they are getting a guy from Newcastle, darren macerlan to take his place. Hes been doing drive for years so it makes sense.
