Jon Faine to leave ABC Melbourne at year’s end

Iconic Melbourne breakfast broadcaster Jon Faine has announced 2019 will be his last year hosting ABC Melbourne’s breakfast show.

At the start of his first 2019 show this morning, Faine told listeners he would not be renewing his contract when it expires at the end of the year after 23 years as host.

Faine said it is “time for someone else to have as much fun as I have had.”
