Sky News shuffles line up with new Outsiders and expanded role for Chris Kenny
The 2019 line up for Sky News has been announced with Chris Kenny taking on more duties while the controversial Outsiders program gains two new hosts.
Sun-Herald columnist Rita Panahi and Daily Telegraph opinion editor James Morrow will be joining Outsiders’ Rowan Dean who became the show’s only host after his two colleagues, Ross Cameron and Mark Latham, were fired by Sky following various on-air outrages.
Sky’s Kenny: “I’ll be providing strong opinions, robust debate and considered analysis of the day’s events.”
It will be interesting to observe Chris Kenny’s SKY role as media watchdog considering his experience as a former chief-of-staff to Malcolm Turnbull, reporter for Channel Nine’s Current Affair (Adelaide edition) and right-wing columnist for The Australia where he is also one of a legion of “associate editors”.
Another platform for Chris Kenny to bash the ABC and as for Outsiders – a smirky show that that is neither funny or to be taken seriously.
Bow wow wow.

hard to say wat would be worse watching peta credlin or having her as our local member of mallee least i can change channel when she is on tv maybe you can offer her more money to stay on sky news
I cannot believe u have taken the retrograde step in reducing Rohan dean to one day a week .he is one of the few that says as it is and I believe that it is pressure from the people he condemns that has brought this about I feel devastated bye bye Fox
Outsiders was one of the shows I purchase a Foxtel subscription. Rowan Dean says as it is. Only on once a week well that is disappointing. I hope you put him on to other shows to add comment. I will have to get a subscription to The Spectator.
I came to sky because of Outsiders. I have found other good balanced programs but if Sky doesn’t have the grit to keep it I won’t stay.
I am devastated that Outsiders has been reduced to virtually nothing! I don’t know what to do now……. there is little to look forward to watching. Credlin, Bolt and Murray and Panahi….. but the rest is ho hum. Outsiders was the standout gem. Back to movies I suppose, as the rest is all hmmmm.
…… without Oustsiders, there is no point. One solitary show is pointless!
Not the same show without Ross Cameron. Fox has gone backwards in all areas. Have to wonder if it’s worth having.

Outsiders is the most informative tv program on at the moment. This is true journalism and should be viewed by the masses. There is very little they say that i don’t agree with. Keep it up Sky you are on a winner. Also Credlin, Bolt, Jones and Kenny, excellent shows.
Love Chris Kenny, just get rid of the unnecessary brain buzzing convergence graphics in the show`s name!
