Junior Masterchef wins Sunday as Australia divides on top shows
Junior Masterchef’s audience fell by about half a million for its second outing on Sunday, but Seven’s The X Factor failed to capitalise with its first live performance show delivering roughly the same audience as last week.
Ten’s Junior Masterchef won the night with an average audience of 1.748m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam. The X Factor was eighth with 1.095m. This compared to 2.202m and 1.074m for the Junior Masterchef and The X Factor last week.
However, there were big variations in viewing patterns across the country, with Junior Masterchef winning in just two of the five capital cities.
In Sydney, Junior Masterchef won, but The X Factor was closer in fourth place.
