KAK: Nine’s a sinking ship and the management are animals

One of Nine’s biggest former stars has launched a withering attack on the network management, accusing it of being a sinking ship in financial trouble.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who was axed by Nine late last year, made the attack in The Sunday Telegraph as she was confirmed as a contestant on Seven’s Dancing With the Stars. She told the newspaper:

“When people are under stress they don’t always do things as you would expect them to do things and there’s no denying that those Channel 9 executives are under high stress. It’s on the record that they’re being chased by a bunch of banks who will need to resolve their financial issues.

“There are a few parallels between (Nine) and the Costa Concordia: they veer off course, hit the rocks, try to right themselves and sink and the captain gets off first, so let’s see how their year pans out.”
