Kiss Bang Love premiere draws 513,000, well down on Seven Year Switch

Seven’s latest newest dating show Kiss Bang Love debuted with a solid 513,000 viewers last night but was well down on the 903,000 viewers that tuned in for the launch of Seven Year Switch.

Kiss Bang Love is the third dating show launched this year by Seven, built around the idea of couples kissing a stranger while blindfolded before deciding whether to go away with them for a weekend, which positioned the network fourth in the after 8:30pm time slot.

The result may lead Seven’s programmers to question whether the dating format is now growing tired with audiences, despite 2016 seeing the surprise success of First Dates and also steady numbers for Seven Year Switch, which had 903,000 for its finale in the same time slot last week.
