Garrett’s new crew: Kroon appointed CEO as changes roll through Omnicom

Omnicom has appointed Kristiaan Kroon as CEO of Omnicom Media, and let go Lucy Formosa Morgan, the head of Magna in Australia, as part of changes sweeping the group.

Mumbrella can confirm that John Clements, IPG Mediabrands Australia’s CFO, has also been made redundant from the newly-merged operation.

Kroon’s ascension, which sees him slotting him into the newly merged structure overseen by Nick Garrett, was confirmed internally yesterday by Omnicom Media Group APAC CEO Tony Harradine and follows months of speculation.

Mumbrella has also confirmed that former PHD Australia CEO Mark Jarrett will now take over Kroon’s role of CCO within Omnicom Media, reporting to Kroon.
