Krux announces deal with Trade Me to enhance audience engagement
Krux Digital has formed a new partnership with New Zealand’s online marketplace Trade Me.
The announcement:
Silicon Valley-based data management platform (DMP) company Krux Digital has formed a new partnership with New Zealand’s largest online marketplace, Trade Me.
The deal will improve the delivery of customised advertising user experiences through a combination of on-site targeting and audience extension off network. Underpinned by Krux DMP, Trade Me advertisers will be able to improve the reach, targeting and resonance of their ads, as well as provide personalised content and experiences to Trade Me users.
With more than 800,000 unique daily browsers, Trade Me is one of the heaviest trafficked websites in New Zealand. The marketplace offers auctions and fixed-priced sales for new and used goods, classified listings for automotive, real estate and employment, as well as accommodation and online dating listings. Based in Wellington, Trade Me is listed on both the NZX and the ASX.
Josh Borthwick, head of advertising at Trade Me, said the Krux partnership will allow Trade Me to enhance its data segmentation and real-time targeting abilities. “With Krux’s data management platform we can leverage secure, real-time, analytics from our diverse audience. This will see us deliver more customised advertising across multiple platforms and devices.”
Jo Gaines, Country Manager, Krux Australia and New Zealand said: “With almost 1 million unique daily browsers, Trade Me already delivers the coverage advertisers need to reach consumers across New Zealand. We’re looking forward to helping the company harness the value of its customer data across all of its platforms and enable advertisers to offer even more targeted, personalised experiences to its users.”
