Little Women takes $3.34m at weekend box office, but can’t topple Jumanji
The third instalment of the Jumanji series, Jumanji: The Next Level, has held firm to the top of the Australian box office in its second weekend outing, taking in over $7m from 647 screens.
The film starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan as teenagers sucked inside the Jumanji video game, sailed to the top of the weekend box office last week with $13.267m. Its running total has now surpassed $22m.
The action comedy still came out on top of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which drew $4.32m in its third weekend. The ninth episode of the Star Wars series has a running box office total of $39.19m.
