Love Island premieres on 9Go with 155,000 metro viewers
Nine’s new dating show, Love Island, pulled in 155,000 metro viewers for its premiere on multi-channel 9GO last night and 246,000 for the encore on the main channel shortly after.
The multi-million-dollar program, which was commissioned specifically for 9Now and 9Go and stars Sophie Monk as host, had just over 300,000 viewers between Nine and 9Go, according to time adjusted figures.
On 9Now, the show had 13,000 on demand streams and 6,500 live streams.

What do you mean that it boosted GO’s share. The evening share was down on last Sunday.
Otherwise every program is seen as a booster……
Sophie Monk doesn’t understand brand loyalty when she trashed the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise viewers at Ten in favor of this garbage on Nine.
Hi Mumbrella,
I am an avid reader of your site and blog but have to say your online coverage of this terrible show caught my attention.
I understand that 9 may have invested over $12m in this series and given the falling TV ratings (now down to 133,000) continue Love Island could become the biggest and most expensive TV flop ever.
I do hope so as Free to Air TV needs to make better show
Best
