Masterchef rates for Ten as Today grabs another win over Sunrise

By far the most watched show of Thursday evening was the latest elimination episode of Masterchef on Ten which averaged 1.634m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Fellow reality contest The Block, on Nine, rated 1.293m.

Meanwhile Leaky Boat, the ABC’s controversial documentary on the Tampa boat refugee incident ,rated a relatively low 374,000, well behind the Q&A special which followed it with 594,000 viewers.

In the breakfast battle, Seven’s Sunrise (311,000) finished behind Nine’s Today (329,000).
