McCafe ad shows why coffee-runs are disastrous and convenience is best

McDonald’s has advocated the convenience of its McCafe drive-through in a new campaign showing the hassles of stopping to get a coffee.

The 30 second commercial shows a man’s umbrella turning inside out, a woman’s car being towed and a dad dropping his child’s pram all while trying to get a coffee.

McDonald’s consolidated its creative account in April giving DDB the whole account and ending Leo Burnett’s 12- year relationship.

The campaign also includes a six second spot which shows a man driving up to the drive-through window to get his coffee hassle free.
