Mia Freedman’s Indian image clean up
Mia Freedman has copped some flak in recent times for her use of sub-editing services from the subcontinent for her Mamamia website.
So Dr Mumbo was more than a little surprised to discover Freedman appears to be something of a minor celebrity in India – in kitchen cleaning circles at least.
It seems several Indian cleaning companies have decided to illustrate their websites with images of Mia cleaning a kitchen, lifted from a branded content project called GermWatch, which Freedman was the face of.
So when you search the phrase “kitchen cleaning” you get images like this one on the Mr Kleen cleaning website of Ernakulam, India. 
Slow news day at Mumbrella clearly!
I found it funny, but I also don’t come to Mumbrella just for hard hitting news and current affairs.
I will be laughing at this for many days to come.
Looks like the ads could do with subediting, especially for Mr.Keen, the Clening Solutions…

This image of Mia is an image I shot a few years ago for a Pr agency. This image has obviously been lifted and from a webpage.Talk about direct plagiarism. As a media watch dog how do we go about getting this image removed?
