Mim Haysom exits M&C Saatchi as general manager

Haysom will be joining the panel on marketing collaboration
M&C Saatchi’s general manager Mim Haysom has resigned from the agency, Mumbrella can reveal.
Mumbrella understands Haysom left the agency earlier this week to pursue another opportunity.
Haysom joined M&C Saatchi in 2014 as a managing partner on the agency’s Commonwealth Bank account from her previous role as regional group head for ANZ Bank at TBWA/Whybin.
In February 2016 Haysom was promoted to the role of general manager at M&C Saatchi.
At the time of her promotion, CEO at M&C Saatchi, Jaimes Legget, said: “Mim’s a gun. Her razor-sharp approach to strategy and creative, together with her experience, passion and commitment, amount to something special.”
Haysom herself at the time said: “I’m delighted to take on the role as the agency’s General Manager. Our people are brilliant and we have an amazing group of clients. It’s exciting to have the opportunity to lead the agency into the future, and to continue working with such a strong and visionary leadership team.”
Throughout her career Haysom has also worked at agencies including Cummins&Partners, JWT and Clemenger Harvie Edge.
It is unclear who will be replacing Haysom as the agency’s general manager.
Haysom and M&C Saatchi both confirmed the departure but declined to make a formal comment.
unsurprising, given the logjam of senior management roles and the departure of so any clients from the M&C Saatchi agency *as opposed to Group companies
m&c burns through GM’s, I can count 2 in 4 years.
Not such a hot shop anymore inspite of their excessive PR.
Following months of market rumours, could this finally signal CBA is going to pitch?
Pick me, pick me
What are you talking about, its only EVER had one other GM Nat Brady in which the role was created for her and she was promoted and still remains the Group GM.
