Ten takes 328,000 for The Biggest Loser as My Kitchen Rules wins over 2.1m

Ten’s reality TV show The Biggest Loser maintained low ratings last night with 328,000 metro viewers as Seven’s hit My Kitchen Rules broke the 2m mark for the second night in a row and third time this series.

Ratings for The Biggest Loser have declined since its launch to 753,000 ahead of the official ratings season on January 19, and fell to 323,000 last week, it’s lowest rating of the season. Last night it saw a slight increase to 328,000 in all cities last night, and was 30th in all programs in total people and 21st in Ten’s target demographic of 25-54.

However Ten’s audience share lifted from 6.4 per cent and 6.8 per cent on Sunday and Monday to 10 per cent last night, according to the preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Tuesday’s episode featured trainer Steve “Commando” Willis’ horror as he discovered contestant Caitlin’s high-calorie cheesy snack.
