Moccona romanticises itself in new spot, via TBWA\Sydney

Australian coffee brand Moccona has launched a new campaign via TBWA\Sydney, blending timeless romance with magic to spark the feelings of falling in love.
‘Destiny’ enlivens the thrill of romance and possibility, reminding Aussies of the brand’s dedication to providing quality coffee experiences.
Set in a quaint European town, the spot sees a woman drop her jar of coffee, and chase it through the streets as it rolls away, before it ends up at the feet of a man. They say the rest is history!
“Moccona has consistently used emotional storytelling and a passion for quality to connect with Australians, and this campaign is no exception,” said Virginia Marsh, marketing director at JDE, the owner of Moccona.
“Partnering with TBWA Sydney, we are proud to launch this new brand campaign to awaken the romantic within and continue to drive love for Moccona.”
TBWA\Sydney’s ECD, Katrina Alvarez-Jarratt, added: “We needed to find an interesting way for the Moccona jar to bring our lovers together, while keeping the product at the heart of the story.
“Having it roll through a charming European town to reunite them captures Moccona’s timeless romance and creates an enjoyable film that is true to the brand in every sense.”
The campaign is rolling out across TV, digital, social and OOH.

I really love this advertisement . There is something about it that captivated me. The advertisement drew me in immediately, the background music, the actors, the underlying romance, the esquisite photo shots, grabbed my attention leaving the undeniable subject (moccona) lingering in my mind.
This advertisement was skilled, professional sophisticated and romantic that delivered a message in minimal time and lasting impact.
That never happens to me I never remember advertisements and tend to shut off but not this one.
Well done Moccona
