My Kitchen Rules finale draws 1.969m for winner announcement, down on last year

The finale of last night’s My Kitchen Rules saw 1.969mm metro viewers tune in to see Melbourne sisters Tasia and Gracia crowned the winners.

The episode had an average audience of 1.820m metro viewers with the winners’ announcement segment the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54). The rest of the finale, which aired on Seven from 7.30pm to 9.45pm, was the second most-watched program.

The result was, for the second year in a row, down on last year, when the finale of the reality cooking franchise drew 2.082m.
