Myer celebrates giving in Christmas campaign
Myer has kicked off its Christmas season with a new campaign celebrating the act of giving.
The commercial features a montage of gift-giving set to Jamiroquai’s “You Give Me Something” ending with the tagline “The Power of Give”.
Having seen the awesome John Lewis ad (Uk) this week, followed by Jamie Olivers woolies ad which is also good, this doesn’t even come close. Disappointing that a big brand like Myer can’t do better

It is embarrassing to compare this to Boots and John Lewis. And it’s not ONLY budget that separates them. It’s ambition and balls too.
I would hate to be invited to any of these CHristmas parties!
Maybe, if they’ve paid their current agency’s little bit better.. The ad wouldn’t suck as much! Or maybe, if they account wasn’t up for pitch, the agency would actually cared a bit more than usual.
