Nestlé joins 2023’s ‘Pitchapalooza’, taking $50m media account to market
One of the largest FMCG brands, Nestlé, is pitching its media account, Mumbrella can reveal.
Nestlé joins the flurry of brands taking media accounts to pitch in 2023, with Mitsubishi, Priceline, BMW, Momentum Energy, Victoria University, Cricket Australia, Forty Winks and more currently in market.

The account last went to pitch in 2018, with UM Australia being appointed four years after it shifted to Wavemaker (then-MEC) from Zenith.
Nestlé is home to well-known brands including KitKat, Allen’s, Nescafe, Milo, Maggi, Uncle Tobys, Nespresso and Purina.
The brand’s general manager, Nestlé Coffee & Dairy, Martin Brown, is currently chair of the AANA, appointed in 2019.

Nestle did not respond to Mumbrella at the time of publishing. UM Australia did not provide comment.
The news comes as ad spend has continued to dip in 2023, according to Standard Media Index, with February spending down 8.6 percent on 2022 figures
