New Comms Council guidelines aim to ‘ease pressure points’ of digital pitches
The Communications Council has released a set of best practice guidelines for digital pitches.
The guide covers how to define pitch requirements, the pitch process, the brief, intellectual property and copyright, and assessment criteria.
A Comms Council press release read:
With pitching putting increasing demands on resources to secure projects, the Communications Council’s Digital Committee aims to ensure that agencies can continue to deliver high quality work within the financial limitations and tightened time frames imposed by clients. The guide puts forward a reasonable and fair approach to engaging agencies on client business in the digital space.
Comms Council committee chair Iain McDonald, who has led the initiative, said: “As digital continues to broaden and expand so do the complexities of finding the right partners. We believe these guidelines will be useful to both clients and agencies. Hopefully it will ease some of the current pressure points being experienced in some pitches.
Nice job team 🙂
