Nine pushes controversial ‘poverty porn’ show The Briefcase to later time slot

Channel Nine has pushed its controversial ‘poverty porn’ show The Briefcase to a later time slot after just two episodes following an audience plunge last night to 491,000 from 733,000 on debut.

The Briefcase aired in the competitive 7:30pm time slot; however, has been shifted to the 9:40pm time slot as of next Monday night, while 20 to One will now air at 7:30pm while Britain’s Got Talent will replace 20 to 1 on Tuesday evening in the 7:30pm timeslot.

Nine declined to comment on the programming change.
