Nine wins night despite local drama series House Husbands shedding 152,000 viewers
Nine’s local drama series House Husbands shed 152,000 viewers last night with its audience tumbling to 661,000 metro viewers in the 9pm timeslot after pulling in 813,000 last week.
In timeshifted viewing, last week’s episode of the drama series picked up an extra 166,00 viewers to take its total audience to 973,000.
Earlier in the evening Ten’s The Great Australian Spelling Bee held steady pulling in 665,000 metro viewers in the 7.30pm timeslot, slightly up on last week’s audience of 662,000, as Seven’s Highway Patrol won the timeslot with an audience of 872,000.
The children’s spelling contest was also out-rated by Nine’s The Hotplate which was watched by 852,000 on a night when no program, outside of news and current affairs managed to top the million mark.
