Offspring swells to above 800,000 as Masterchef wins the night

Ten’s Offspring has bounced back from last week’s audience of 742,000 with episode four watched by 845,000 metro viewers at at 8:40pm.

The local drama series was the second most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54) while Ten’s Masterchef was the most-watched show after pulling in 1.191m at 7:30pm.

The strong performance across both shows was not enough to secure a win for Ten, however, with Seven coming out on top with a share of 18.9%, while Ten grabbed 18.4%. Nine claimed third place with a share of 15.3% as the ABC managed a share of 11.7%.
