Ogilvy appoints Kirsty Muddle as CEO for ANZ

Ogilvy have announced the appointment of Kirsty Muddle as its new CEO of Ogilvy Network ANZ. Muddle joins Ogilvy from Dentsu, and will lead Ogilvy’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, overseeing all capabilities spanning advertising, PR, social and influencer, customer engagement, consulting, and health.

Muddle was one of several minor CEOs within the Dentsu ANZ structure, which is now being shaken up following the appointment of Rob Harvey — who had built Dentsu’s New Zealand business over years — to the position of ANZ CEO in August.

Prior to joining Dentsu more than three years ago, Muddle was a founding partner at Cummins & Partners, spending 11 years at the agency. She also spent nine years at Mindshare, both in the UK and Australia, and sits on the boards of the Australian council of Advertising (ACA), the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), and Ridgeway; an Indigenous Social Change agency.
