OMD Sydney promotes general manager Aimee Buchanan to managing director role

OMD Sydney has promoted general manager Aimee Buchanan to managing director to lead the Sydney office with Mark Jarrett.

Buchanan joined OMD in October 2011 as global business director before being promoted to the general manager role of the Sydney office in January 2013.

Peter Horgan, CEO OMD Australia said in a statement: “Aimee is an impact player who makes a material difference to the business and the broader industry. OMD Sydney is now the largest media agency in Australia by some margin. The executive leadership provided by Mark and Aimee allows us to sustain our focus on streamlining our processes and productivity while continuing to push the boundaries of product development.”
