Omnicom Media Group Australia and New Zealand CEO Peter Horgan to step down

Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Australia and New Zealand CEO, Peter Horgan, has announced he is stepping down.

On Tuesday afternoon, Horgan – who has been with the company for 21 years – confirmed he will be moving from the CEO position to chair in mid-2025 when a successor is confirmed.

“Horgs has played a key role in elevating OMG’s competitive edge during his time with us, and this transition marks a natural evolution of his commitment to the continued success of our organisation,” OMG Asia Pacific CEO, Tony Harradine, said.

“At OMG, we are dedicated to support our leaders in their long-term succession planning strategy. As such, over the last few months, Horgs and I have been working closely to identify the best leadership succession for our Australian and New Zealand businesses.

A classy competitor, lovely man and incisive thinker. You’ll be missed Horgs. I appreciated you taking me for dinner early on as we were competing and introducing me to some of the best dumplings in the business. You’re truly someone I look up to.
