PacMags to run Girlfriend and Total Girl under one editor following merger of editorial teams
Pacific Magazines is on the hunt for an editor to lead the combined editorial team for magazines Girlfriend and Total Girl with the two respective editors leaving the business.
Combining the editorial position comes after Pacific Magazines restructured the magazine’s editorial teams in June last year with Tarca and Nicholls initially remaining at the helms of the two titles.
Girlfriend editor Sarah Tarca has resigned and leaves at Christmas, while Total Girl editor Amanda Nicholls has already been made redundant.
The restructure is similar to that of Bauer Media’s merger of the Cleo and Dolly’s editorial teams in 2013, which saw two editors invited to compete for a single job.
