Peter Helliar to front new game show CRAM on Ten
The Project co-host Peter Helliar will host a new weekly game show on Ten.

CRAM will involve two team of celebrities and comedians – captained by comedian Dilruk Jayasinha, and actor and singer Virginia Gay – attempting to recall details from videos on a range of subjects from dogs to Leonardo da Vinci, and from jeans to Justin Bieber, according to a release from Ten.
Seems like Australian TV is determined to go down the same road as English TV – just put more panel shows on with comedians. That’ll do it! Cheap and a ratings winner – or so they think. Cheap and nasty some people would think. David Mott claims “we’re currently witnessing a comedy resurgence in Australia”. If that is the case, shouldn’t we be looking at other alternatives than yet another comedy panel show?
No disrespect to Virginia but I can’t believe yet again a panel show has not cast a female comic. It’s always let’s get male comics and a female actress or journalist or ‘personality’.
