Pinterest says ‘It’s Possible’ in first-ever Australian brand campaign
Pinterest has launched its first-ever Australian brand campaign, reminding users that anything is possible on the platform.
Developed in-house by Pinterest’s House of Creative team, the spots are part of the brand’s integrated global campaign, reinforcing how Pinterest aims to be a platform helping users go from dreaming, to doing.
Pinterest need to fix their massive problems before launching campaigns. Reddit is full of terrible stories of people losing years of work with no explanation, or for ‘violating standards’ when eg the account only posts pictures of flowers or cats. When they do email you that they’ve ’removed one of your pins’ they say here is a ‘one-off link’ to see which pin, but the link only opens your home page or the last innocuous picture you pinned. They also include a link to appeal their decision, but when you click it it asks do you want to ‘download’ [random browser page from your browser history]. Millions of users have brought all this to their attention to deafening silence.
