Daimler/Mercedes-Benz wraps $18m media pitch
One of the last remaining Mediapalooza pitches has finally been decided with Daimler/Mercedes-Benz opting to keep its media with Omnicom agency Foundation, Mumbrella can reveal.
That’s not what I’ve heard.
I’ve heard it’s split between With and Whybin.
A $4m media spend split between two.
So 2 agencies splitting 250K revenue.
What’s the point of a pitch?
It will be interesting to see the quality of entries to the various awards next year, with 2015 taken up with mainly timewasting, drawnout, pitches – to which a shocking amount stay with the incumbent. Shocking because why go through all this if you were never going to move? Just be honest marketers – tell your agency you like them but it needs to be cheaper or you’re out the door. Save everyone’s time.
