Placemaking NSW switches agencies in $5m creative and PR shake-up

Placemaking NSW has unveiled a new $5-million agency roster, appointing independent agencies Connecting Plots and Keep Left as its creative and PR partners.

The government body, responsible for managing Sydney’s harbourside precincts, awarded Connecting Plots a $3.6 million contract for creative and strategic marketing, taking over from WPP’s Akqa — which won the brief in 2020 when it operated as White Grey.

Meanwhile, Keep Left will handle Placemaking NSW’s public relations for the next three years via a $1 million contract, replacing Poem, which had held the brief for more than eight years.
