Porter Novelli leaders exit as brand disappears in Australia

Porter Novelli Australia’s three most senior leaders have departed the communications agency following holding company Omnicom’s major global restructure.

CEO Rhys Ryan, chief operating officer Arj Ganeshalingam and managing partner Patrick McClelland have all left the Melbourne-based operation as Porter Novelli is fully folded into Omnicom — specifically, fellow agency FleishmanHillard.

Ryan, who opted for redundancy with Ganeshalingam instead of moving into a new role, had served as CEO of the Australian business since 2022.
