A PR masterclass from PwC in how to become more gender diverse
Dr Mumbo was impressed to read in today’s Australian Financial Review about a big jump in gender diversity among the Australian leadership of consultancy PwC.
The big move – “bumping female representation up from 25% to 43%” – was page lead, so impressed was the AFR with the improvement.
And how was this leap forward – headlined “More women among PwC’s leadership” – achieved overnight? Once has to carefully read the story to understand.
Previously there were three women on the leadership team of 12. Now the size of the leadership team has been reduced to seven.
Cmon. This is unreal.
Looks like the staff cuts at Fairfax are taking effect already – no investigative journalism here…
More gender diverse, as long as females arrive to work each day in heels. Weird article when they’ve had negative PR lately.
