Queen classic soundtracks latest KitKat campaign

KitKat’s latest campaign makes good use of a very suitable Queen song in its bid to encourage Aussies to enjoy better breaks throughout their day.

Building on the iconic tagline ‘Have a Break, Have a KitKat’, the new commercial is soundtracked by Queen hit I Want to Break Free, and “aims to inspire people to take a better-quality break, without interruption.”

Of course, as the advert shows, only a four-finger KitKat bar can truly make the stress of the workday melt away.

“We’re all better when we break better,” explains Nestlé Confectionery head of marketing Oceania, Mel Chen.

“That’s why team KitKat want to champion better, uninterrupted breaks. We are excited to launch this KitKat Better Breaks campaign to support Aussies and Kiwis in their pursuit of good breaks, to come back refreshed.

“Next time consumers hear the tune ‘I Want to Break Free’ by Queen, or see the new KitKat TVC, we hope you get inspired to take a proper break, free from distractions.”
