Radio Ratings: 97.3FM climbs in Brisbane, FM holds steady but 4BC posts significant falls

Brisbane radio ratingsAustralian Radio Network’s (ARN) 97.3FM has held onto its ratings crown in Brisbane for a third consecutive survey posting strong gains across the board, particularly in its afternoon slots, and gaining 1.3 per cent overall in audience.

The rise for 97.3FM came as its FM rivals Nova106.9FM and B105 remained relatively steady with 0.4 percent and 0.1 per cent increases in audience overall to post 12.8 and 10.6 per cent.

While classic hits station 4KQ and Fairfax talkback 4BC both posted significant declines with both stations losing 1.2 per cent to an overall audience share of 6.8 and 5.5 per cent respectively. 

97.3FM has held the top position in the Brisbane market since the beginning of the year when it took the crown from Nova 106.9FM who held the crown at the end of last year.
