Radio ratings: Jonesy and Amanda claim top FM breakfast in Sydney from Kyle and Jackie O

WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda have taken the number one FM radio breakfast spot in Sydney from KiisFm duo Kyle Sandlands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, while talkback station 2GB continues its overall domination of the market as 2UE posted its worst ever share.

Brendan Jones and Amanda Kelleher tied for the number one spot with their fellow Australian Radio Network DJs Kyle and Jackie O in the first survey under the new system from GfK, before slipping behind them last time. However, today’s third survey shows they put on an impressive 1.8 per cent audience share taking them to 10 per cent, while the Kiis duo slipped  1.4 per cent to 9.5.

Troubled Southern Cross Austereo station 2DayFm got a slight lift Monday to Sunday with 4.5 per cent audience share, up 0.5 per cent, while its Breakfast with the Stars slipped back again to its lowest rating yet of 3.6 per cent. Sister station TripleM picked up some share, up 0.9 per cent to 5.9, whilst its breakfast show rose to 6.5 per cent.
