Search, Rescue and Fire win for Seven but Nine holds 25-54s with The Big Bang Theory
Channel Seven’s lineup of real-life and fictional rescue drama with Dog Patrol, Air Rescue and Chicago Fire won in all people last night, however Nine held onto the most 25-54 year old viewers with repeat episodes of The Big Bang Theory.
Preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam show The Big Bang Theory was the top program in the key ad demographic, as well as winning the 7.30pm timeslot.
Meanwhile Dog Patrol averaged 762,000 for Seven, just 8,000 less in all people, and a repeat of Modern Family had 462,000 viewers on Ten.
Seven’s Air Rescue won the 8pm timeslot, followed by The Big Bang Theory and another repeat of Modern Family which went up to 573,000 total viewers for Ten, and was ninth in people 25-54.
Why don’t you give the figures for Ten’s morning shows?
Hi Peter,
Unfortunately we only get numbers for the top 100 shows and the Ten shows do not feature.
Cheers,
Alex, Editor, Mumbrella
You know very well you could get them forget this top 100 rubbish. Ask 10’s spin doctors to reveal so now survey is finished until mid February we won’t get to see improvements or not. Suffice to say if they were on the up we would be hearing about them but then I would be cynical
Says a lot for Wake Up if it fails to feature in the TOP 100 – why would advertisers and media buyers even consider it if they have 100 plus other choices every day !!
Another $22m mistake – and the brainchild of Chairman ?
How can Sonia Kruger be happy moving fr seven to nine. Mornings get hammered in the ratings each day. Big brother got hammered as well against XFactor. Been there done that – why do u want ratings for tens morning shows . You know it hasn’t made a dent in the ratings!!
