ITV Studios Australia managing director Anita Jacoby departs after two years in the role
One of Australia’s most senior TV producers Anita Jacoby has departed ITV Studios Australia, after two years as managing director of the production house.
While the production house’s local division refused to comment today, instead directing media inquires to its UK headquarters, Jacoby issued her own statement this afternoon confirming she was the second major departure, this week, after head of entertainment Hilary Innes move to Ten.
“I can confirm that I have left my role as MD of ITV Studios Australia. This is a consequence of ITV PLC restructuring its Australian leadership as a result of its increased foreign acquisitions,” said Jacoby, in the statement.
Jacoby was a co-founder of Zapruder’s Other Films with Andrew Denton, but left the business after it merged with Cordell Jigsaw to become Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder (CJZ).
