SCA enters voluntary trading suspension
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has become the second media business to enter a voluntary suspension, following its trading halt earlier this week.
The business announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) this morning that trading would be suspended until Friday 3 April.
And staff take paycuts……….
Given most of their business is centred around broadcast & drive-time, no doubt they are taking big hits… rough times for traditional media.
Agree re Radio, but all the stats I’ve seen show broadcast audiences are up around the country. Audiences are there.
This issuing to play out quicker than you think.
