Sensis moves its display and programmatic representation from MCN to Yahoo7
Former Telstra subsidiary Sensis has moved its sales representation for display and programmatic advertising from MCN to Yahoo7 following a competitive tender.
The move sees Sensis separate its sales representation from the telco, which remains with MCN, with Yahoo7 taking over representation for major websites like Yellow Pages, White Pages, Truelocal, Whereis and Skip
Meanwhile Sensis’s new in-house digital agency, Found is managing data, search engine marketing and optimisation.
Jonathan Steel, director of business development and partnerships at Yahoo7, said in a statement: “We are excited to announce our new partnership with Sensis and have been impressed with their vision for the future. This partnership will give us the immediate chance to showcase our market leading national sales team and programmatic prowess across desktop, tablet and mobile sites.
“This new collaboration with Sensis will provide significant opportunities aligned to our strategy to drive growth across mobile, video, native and social.”
Robert Tolliday, commercial director of Sensis, said: “Sensis has transformed into the number one marketing services company in Australia and Yahoo7 will be an important partner in our ongoing digital evolution.
“There are so many opportunities with new technologies, which is where this partnership will allow us to take full advantage of the moving digital landscape,”

Sensis has transformed into the number one marketing services company in Australia
I find that hard to believe
@ really? Yes good call.

Not another publisher / media company claiming they are #1. Proof please and who is the competition?
Sensis is little more than a print publisher and Google Re-Seller these days and in both of those areas they face declining usage and revenues and competition from a now larger competitor like Reach Local. I am unsure who buys what sensis sells anymore. For Robert Tolliday to say that “Sensis has transformed into the number one marketing services company in Australia,” somebady needs to tell him he is dreaming….
I am not sure how Robert defines a marketing services company, but any definition would not see Sensis at number 1.
Out of interest, if you search marketing services or marketing services company on Google (Australia) you do see Sensis come up anywhere on page 1… strange.
customers are not fool to invest their advertising dollar if they don’t get return.
@roughneck. Reach Local? The same Reach Local that is also little more than a Google Adwords reseller?
So many former Sensis reps and managers now work for Reach Local, so that doesn’t exactly fill me with a huge amount of confidence either.
